Glass Doors for Arched Brick Fireplace - Project #11365
Customer Comments: Please see the attached photos. I am looking forward to you design recommendations. My wife and I have reviewed the photo gallery on your website and identified 3 potential projects.
1. Project 11193, option 1 2. Project 10228, option 1D 3. Project 10228, option 1F
We would like for the brickwork around the perimeter of the opening to show, not be covered up by the doors, as much as possible. In addition the screen would not be necessary. If for any reason the screen MUST be a part of the doors then they should be able to be slid out of the way on a rod.
Our Comments: We have created mockups using the examples you provided. Keep in mind that it is difficult to match the shape of your arch with the pre-existing photos we have of these doors, so they do appear slightly distorted. We added an additional option that has an arch almost identical to yours as a better example of the shape.
Fireplace Opening: Not Provided
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
