Mesh Door for Raised Tile Fireplace - Project #11511
Customer Comments: I was on your website looking for just a screen that will go in the interior of the fireplace frame and be 2 screen doors only (no glass doors). I saw your Ledge Design, but we are looking for something that is flush with the tile or something that has a small trim piece around the opening. I have also included the measurements of the interior side walls of our fireplace. Do you make something like this and what is the approx. cost?
Our Comments: Most of our glass doors can be made as mesh doors without glass. Because your opening is slightly irregular, we do not recommend fitting the frame inside as there will be gaps that show the irregularities. All of the examples can be made with cabinet doors or a single door. Single doors provide the best fire viewing as they do not have a frame down the center. The "Pseudo" mesh doors from Stone Manufacturing have less obstruction when it comes to cabinet doors.
Fireplace Opening: 35 3/4 to 36 1/8" W x 23 3/4 to 23 7/8" H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Affordable Aluminum Doors
Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.

Medium Range Steel Doors
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
DXF Doors
Our DXF doors are made from solid steel with laser cut patters. These can be made with a single panel mesh door behind the patterned doors so you can view the fire with the doors open or closed and still have the protection of the mesh. View more DXF Patterns Here!
High End Pseudo Clearview Mesh Doors
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from Solid Brass and Steel featuring their unique "Pseudo Clearview" mesh doors that minimize the obstruction of the fire. There are many finish combinations and decorative casting trims to choose which you can see here: Stone Manufacturing Finishes and Trims. from Very high end, and very refined.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
