Screen Doors for Gothic Arch Sabella Carved Stone Mantel - Project #11533
Customer Comments: Hello, This fireplace will be installed in my home toward the end of February. The fireplace is wood burning. I am looking for something nice to go on the front that will be beautiful, but not detract from the intricately carved fireplace. The firebox is light red brick and quite nice looking, so we hope to retain our view inside the fireplace. We also want to be able to watch our fires burn. We can use either iron, oil rubbed bronze, pewter, or brushed nickel for the metal and are open to suggestions there. We would like to try to add a fireback, so that might influence the suggestion you have. Please let me know if any other details you require. Thank you.
Our Comments: Here are some mockups based on our email conversation.
Fireplace Opening: 44 3/4" W x 36 1/4" H (template required)
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

High End Hand Crafted Wrought Iron/Steel Doors
Hand crafted doors take on a more rugged natural look for those who appreciate craftsmanship tasteful details.
These doors are made from laser cut steel with a powder coat finish. The frame will not have the hand forged texture and hand crafted character like wrought iron doors, but they are substantially less expensive.
Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
