Size Chart

The Savannah fireplace door comes in both Stock and Custom Sizes. Stock size doors are still custom made because you can choose from various finishes and other options, but the sizes cannot be changed, so they are less expensive and have a quicker delivery time. If you cannot find a stock size in the chart below that will fit your fireplace you can view the Custom Savannah Here.

Important Note: The size chart below shows the minimum and maximum ranges these doors will fit. This does not allow any room for irregularities such as an uneven hearth or the fireplace being out of square. If your fireplace is right at the minimum or maximum dimensions, it may not fit properly. We recommend you have at least 1/4" room for play with the sizing. This is why it is important that you Email Us Pictures Of Your Fireplace so our experts can make a proper recommendation.

Description

The Savannah fireplace door is custom made to fit your fireplace. This door is made for Masonry fireplaces only and features a medium wide frame that is flat with some relief to give it character. Great for any style fireplace where you need or desire a wider frame. This door works great as an overlap or inside fit (custom doors only), although we do not recommend an inside fit for smaller fireplaces as the wider frame will shrink the viewing area.

The frame is fabricated from aluminum extrusions that are either anodized or powder coated. The extrusions are mitered in the corners and pieced together much like a picture frame.

Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust or tarnish and is quite impervious to heat. It is a much sturdier material than sheet metal and less expensive than solid brass or solid steel.

The glass is 1/4" thick fully tempered safety glass with a Lifetime Warranty for breakage, and you CAN burn the fire with the doors closed if you wish.
