Important Note: If your fireplace has LP gas, it is very important that you choose gas logs that have a burner system specifically made to burn propane. Propane gas is heavier than air and can "puddle" inside the fireplace if there is a leak rather than go up the chimney like natural gas would (which is lighter than air). For this reason it is mandatory that all LP gas logs have a standing safety pilot that closes the gas valve in the event that the fire blows out, or someone does not close the gas valve tightly. You cannot purchase a Match Light gas log for LP gas, so the least expensive models will always be more than those made for natural gas.
Below are the finest quality gas logs for Liquid Propane made by R. H. Peterson here in the USA. These are among the best quality and most realistic gas logs you can buy. The vented models produce a very pleasant natural looking flame while the ventless models produce an extraordinary amount of heat.
