Minimal Frame Fireplace Doors

Here are some great examples of fireplace doors with a narrow frames that fit in perfectly with minimalist style decor. These doors are all custom made to fit your fireplace and are available in a wide variety of finishes. Option #A: MINIMAL-1 - We could not pick a better door to feature here than one that is actually called "The Minimal-1". This is the most minimal fireplace door you will find. Upper and lower angle irons suspend the glass with unique satin nickel hinges and latches. There is no frame on the sides and no bottom latch, just glass. Option #B: Hidden Pocket Fireplace Glass Door - These glass doors slide away behind the fireplace facing for the most minimal look possible. This is a prototype concept that is available for new construction or fireplaces that are being refaced. See how this actually works at Project #10915.
Option #C: Hidden Pocket Fireplace Mesh Door - This is the same as Option #B but with mesh doors instead of glass. This is not a concept, but an actual photograph of this product in a real life application.
Option #1: EDGE-3 Twin Fireplace Door in Flat Black. The EDGE doors use an angle iron frame that is recessed into the fireplace where you only see the front edge of the angle iron. Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
