Project 10139 - Glass Doors for Wide Rock Fireplace
Customer Comments: We are looking for custom fit doors for our fireplace. It is stone and uneven. I hope you can help. The is 50"wide at the top and goes down to 48". It is 20 3/4" high on the left side and goes to 21". I have attached pictures i hope they are ok. Iam looking for something simple. I like the custom Aliminum doors #4 Brookfeild or #10 Brookfeild zc deluxe. In a powder coat dark pewter with clear glass non beveled, standard doors and i think i like the regular black mesh curtains. We are not looking to spend to much about $1300s. Thank you

Our Comments: Great choice. We have created some samples of how the Brookfield will look. We also suggest you consider the Stiletto, which is the exact same price as the Brookfield. The Stiletto has a narrower frame which is great for inside fit applications where the fireplace is not very tall. The Stiletto will shrink the opening height less than have as much as the Brookfield.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
