Project 10147 - Glass Doors for ZC Fireplace with Air Vent Lever
Customer Comments: Hello, I just purchased my house and the gas fireplace's doors were removed by the previous owners due to glass breakage. There is no label visible on/around the unit to provide the manufacture's details. I would like to explore the possibility of getting replacement doors for this unit. I have taken photos according to your online site (see below). I would very much appreciate your help in determining what sort of doors might fit this fireplace.
Our Comments: Normally, the best look is to cover all of the black metal on the fireplace with the frame. The only complexity in your situation is the knob at the bottom left. The example below shows how a door can be made with a slot to allow the lever to operate. The door in the example would be a customized Legend ZC door which has a frame laser cut from a solid 3/16” thick sheet of steel. This allows us to make the width of the frame to whatever dimension we want in order to cover the black metal as well as cut a hole for the knob.
Fireplace Opening: To Be Determined
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
