Project 10156 - Glass Doors for Corner Fireplace
Customer Comments: Hello, we are interested in a corner fireplace encloser for a wood burning fireplace. The surround is brick/masonry. Attached are pictures. The pictures are not the finished look of the fireplace as we are currently going through renovations to our new home. We do have an idea of what we are looking for: Front opening measurements: 43 1/4 x 28 1/2, Side opening: 28 1/2 x 12 1/2. Would appreciate mock ups of the Silhouette, Stilletto and Brookfield in espresso bronze burst, solar bronze and Satin nickel. Please let me know if you need any other information. Thank you so much!
Opening Size: Front: 43 1/4" W x 28 1/2" H | Right Side: 12 1/2" W x 28 1/2" H
Our Comments: We do not normally create mockups for corner fireplaces because we cannot recreate the actual profile of the door in a corner using computer graphics. So whenever we do attempt to create them, please realize these are near proximations to help you visualize. Also, due to the complexity of creating these mockups, we cannot do each of them in various finishes, so please refer to the finish samples to choose your finish. Regarding which door is best for the application, we need to know if you are planning on refacing the fireplace with some material such as marble, tile or stone. This will affect our recommendation. If you plan to leave the brick, we recommend choosing the Brookfield since it will overlap enough to cover the mortar joints. The Stiletto and Silhouette are better choices for smooth flat surfaces without mortar joints such as marble or tile.
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
