Project 10347 - Glass Door for Stone Fireplace
Customer Comments: Hi Felix, I spoke to you earlier this year about doors for our masonry fireplace and we were in the process of rebuilding the hearth and getting new flooring at that time. We have completed that part of the project and now we are ready to get the fireplace doors going and are considering the stock doors if it makes sense; however I do need to request finish samples as there were none available the last time we spoke. Can I please get the following finish samples: Copper vein, Solar bronze, Ancient Age, Cast Bronze, and Toffee The smallest dimensions of our opening are 36-1/2" wide by 26-7/8" ht because of the irregular cast stone product. The doors will be mortared in, obviously. I have attached a couple of photos, though the quality is marginal, I think you can get the idea. Thank you for your help.
Our Comments: The only stock door that will fit this fireplace is the Bungalow model BG36265 which has an overall frame size of 36" W x 26 1/2" H. Any other door would need to be custom. We have provided several examples of custom doors in the various finishes you requested.

Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
