Customer Comments: We removed the hearth to open the floor plan and are now in need of a fireplace screen. Attached is a pic of the fireplace. Fireplace is 10.5 inches off floor, 41 inches wide, 33 inches from top of arch to where begins. We are interested in something plain in wrought Iron. Thank you-
Our Comments: Here are some ideas how to treat your fireplace. Ultimately, we believe a mesh door attached to the fireplace is not only the most functional solution, but the best looking as well.

Steel Mesh Doors
These mesh panel doors are custom made to fit the shape of your fireplace. They are easily attached and provide the best convenience and protection.
Option #1: Single Arched Fireplace Mesh Door in Flat Black with Twist Handle. This door folds down when access to the fireplace is needed. This type of door is best suited for gas fireplaces.
Free Standing Screens
Option #3: 1P30M Arched Fireplace Screen with Bottom Grid, Wrought Iron Scroll Feet and Handles. Bottom portion has double mesh to help hide the bricks.
Option #4: 1P30M Arched Fireplace Screen with Wrought Iron Scroll Feet and Handles. Bottom portion has double mesh to help hide the bricks.
Option #5: EC-05SA Arched Fireplace Screen with Diamonte Pattern in Oil Rubbed Steel.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
