Glass Doors for ZC Fireplace with Stone Facing - Project #11165

Customer Comments: Good Day, I'm interested in a few designs for fireplace doors. I'm a skilled carpenter/maintenance person and will install myself. I like the design of the image attached. Hi Greg, Thanks for your reply. Here are the measurements. I'm fine with the Stiletto doors. I know fire doors can get pricey.
-Bi-fold doors
-Clear glass
-Black or Gun Smoke
-Budget $600-$900. (or as close as you can get
-As indicated in pictures , the smallest opening from stone to stone is 38 inches long x 28 inches high. Stone is manufactured.

Our Comments: The Stiletto is just inside your budget. The Aluminum ZC doors from Design Specialties are all the same price, so the Brookfield featured below will also be in your budget. The other doors we have featured are just for show since others view these projects for ideas. We are also going to need the dimensions of the actual metal fireplace opening. The Stiletto fits inside and does not overlap the metal at all. All of the doors shown below can be made in flat black with clear glass even though they are shown in different finishes.

Fireplace Opening: 38" W x 28" H (minimum stone opening)

Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options

The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.

Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
